Again with the Kapenan hate. I hope Kapanen goes to a team and just dominates and the Leafs get a crappy return that sets them back some. Then again, after McDavid's entry level deal is up, he will walk. I will bet my house on it.

I'd rather trade Komo for a 1st and keep Kapenen (former 1st) then to trade for a 6 million player who's been sub par for the last 3 years. No thanks. Makes no sense for the leafs plan.

Wrong, when they are RFAs they can be offered offer sheets, and their team can match it if they would like, but the team to offer them a contract must fork over a certain draft pick if they sign.
