Montreal won't be trading Subban, they wouldn't want to and his cap hit would hard for a team to manage. To say Davidson holds negative value is just stupid. But why expect anything different from Russianturd at this point. Davidson isn't flashy and will never be a top pairing guy, but took a huge step in development this year and has probably been the best dman for the oilers other than Sekera and Klefbom who has been injured for a good chunk of there season. I'm not even going to touch the McDavid straight up for Subban proposal because there's no point, anyone who would propose that doesn't know anything about hockey, so why waste the time.

McDavid is already elite..... and will be better than Crosby, Ovechkin ect .. best player NHL has seen since the Mario Lemieux. , Wayne Gretzky days.... I'm a Habs fan.. love PK. , but if Chiaralli would go for it.. do it in a second...

And Davidson does not have negative value. He's been very good in the bottom-pairing and on the PK. He's going to be extended by Edmonton, I would predict at least 2yrs.

It doesn't mean he has negative value as you said, not weather he is good or not. He does hold value in a trade scenerio.

I like this trade. Oilers first overall pick is a top 3 if not the #1.
Mtl could end up with RNH and Austin Matthews. And yes, agree with the comment Davidson is our 2nd or 3rd best d man and his growth is astonishingly increasing game to game.
