Easy no from Oilers they won't move him. I know you dislike Chirp and the Oils but no way from Edmonton even if its Shattenkirk. They'll deal RNH, Eberle or Yak for a D man not Hall, Drais, Mcdavid their untouchable.

Leon isn't being moved for an offensive minded Dman. End of discussion. Oilers needs are a top 2, right shot, physical, two way Dman. Shattenkirk would be nice but only if he could be had for Eberle.

Well he can't be had for eberle sorry. Looks like EDM will have to grow their own #1 dman. FYI if you think that Shatty isn't physical, If you think he can't play defense just as well as other then you don't know about Shatty watch him play. Well if the oilers can't get a deal for shattinkerk they have a lot options no way they'll over pay they could get hamonic or buff for a lot cheaper imo.

STL: Shattenkirk

This i probably the most the Oilers will offer, not saying it will be enough someone will probably pay more (atleast according to russian tank) . But it's not like Shattenkirk is Weber, Karlsson, Doughty, Subban, Hedman, Ekman-Larsson or Keith. At most he's top 25-30 among defenseman in the NHL.

He is top 15 in league. Has mire points than your entire defence put together. Petro may be considered the best on our team but you don't have what it takes to get petro since mcdavid is off the table. I would trade mcjesus either. With that said shatty is available and will got for overpayment to highest bidder if we don't get what we want we resign him that easy.
