Doesn't make sense for Tampa. They have no other starter and they don't need a top 6 forward. I believe that Winnipeg would have to add, bishop has become one of the best puck stoppers the league has.

Tampa would never do it. They have more than enough scoring, and no one to replace Bishop.

Lol, maybe in 1-2 years, when Vasilevski is ready to take the No.1 full time spot and then WPG still adds.
By this time, Kane is more than likely to be already gone, tho.

Its interesting since to start TB got Bishop straight up for Conacher so in the end
EKane for Conacher is a pretty good deal

I wouldn't say Bishop is one of the best puck stoppers the league has just yet. He hasn't proved anything at the NHL level other than one good regular season. I can think of at least 10 goalies I'd put before him.

Horrible for BOTH teams , Jets have a TON of goalie prospects,that will be kn ocking on the door sooner rather than later NTM would have to pay more than 6 million for both goaltenders AND he's a UFA next year, so how exacly is this great for the Jets?

Than the Jets can have fun with Pavelec or whatever his name is. Tampa doesn't need Kane with the young skilled forwards they have.

Have fun paying out the nose for (a unproven) Bishop next year or losing him to free agency, we will enjoy Kane's 30 goal seasons for the next 5! And don't worry about Pav's, Hutchinson will soon be his replacement (probably mid-season) at 575,000 for the next 2 years!
