Flames are going for it and shore up their forward group and bring in Pearson who is familiar with Toffoli and Sutter.
They shore up the Leftside defense with OEL.
Canucks are trying to get a bit younger and would like Tanev as a partner for Hughes and are hoping to just get into a playoff spot.

Is this some kind of joke!? Did you forget to add JT Miller or Conor Garland? Mangiapane scored more Goals alone than all the Players you've proposed here combined for heavens sake.

-Only way CGY takes Pearson is if Lucic was going the other way
-CGY has ZERO interest in Dickinson, you'll have to pay to dump him
-CGY doesn't want another Small Forward, we have Pelletier & Phillips
-OEL is good, but where's the compensation for taking on his contract
-DiPietro might still bring a late pick, but he was terrible in all 3GP

My proposal below is substantially more realistic, this proposal is just insulting.

So, taking on Lucic, who is a cap dump, and a bunch of other trash, you get Top 10 scorer JT Miller, Garland, Pearson and Schenn.
Talk about insulting.
You realize DiPietro has those 3GP spread out over 4 years and was an emergency call-up in his 1st game, as a 19 year old.
You are starting to sound worse than that Leafs poster who constantly posts lopsided Leafs deals.

Pearson isn’t much better than Lucic, who brings many intangible assets other than just Scoring, and its in VAN’s best interest to get out of the 2nd year of Pearson’s contract, so they pretty much offset one another

Otherwise my offer was equivalent to Three 1st + a 2nd + a 6th Round Picks; that’s more than Plenty for a Very Good Player + an Aging/ Recent AHL Rental + an Undersized Winger and a Goalie Prospect who’s value has plummeted

CGY isn’t parting with Mangiapane, Dube or Tanev unless a ridiculous deal presents itself. Zadorov can be discussed, but we’re not interested in OEL’s albatross of a contract and the only way we consider Pearson is if Lucic goes the other way. We’re only interested in JT Miller, Garland and Schenn unless Hughes is available or Lucic + Zadorov for Pearson + Myers 25% retained is on the table.

Toffoli is worth a 2nd to a competitive team who has the space which there is none.

Ruzicka isn’t comparable to Lazar or Dickenson both are pure shut down 4th line centres who are good at their role. Dickenson is a cap dump.

Look around the league how many competitive teams can take Toffolis cap hit? Yes his value has gotten lower because there is literally no market for him. The Canucks are probably 3-5 years out from being a cup contender.

You're Right! Ruzicka is projecting to be a 2nd or 3rd Line Centre. He played 95% of his TOI on the 4th line putting up 0.36PPG and a +/ - = +8 with only 10:13ATOI, which is excellent, not sucky. I like Lazar, He's Good Pick Up for VAN, but Dickinson is no bueno

Any competitive team would love to have Toffoli, they'd simply move a player in the deal or to another Team to make the Cap Space. CGY's Happy to keep Toffoli, but if an upgrade = 1.00PPG+ Player or Younger Player was available (especially French or Swedish), we should consider moving Toffoli for them: Tarasenko, Miller, Garland, Bratt, Reinhart or Monster Mantha for example

MIN's looking to replace Fiala & CGY needs a 2C, so Ryan Hartman or Joel Eriksson Ek? If we signed Right Shot's Kessel or Rodrigues or Traded for Zetterlund, Necas or Nic Roy, we could move Toffoli for a D-Man, maybe even Barrie if EDM added a Nice Sweetener.
