Take out the Jets draft picks and Heinola, the Habs 1st rounder and Suzuki. Then have the Habs add Anderson and Romanov for PLD. This would be a trade that the Jets may do.

The Habs have to try and entice the Jets to trade them PLD who is a very good Quebec boy that the Habs have been trying to get for a long time. What would the Habs have to give up to get him? I think it starts with Romanov and another top end piece like Anderson. The Jets don't want or need draft picks, 3rd/ 4th line forwards, bottom pairing d-men, young untested prospects or cap dumps.

Skill wise it's kind of pointless Hockey Dad, as they're both pretty similar. But contract wise, Montreal wouldn't or at least shouldn't do Suzuki/ Dubois.

Why would the Jets want Romonav or Anderson?
They have plenty of W. They would need C in return, so Anderson doesn't make sense.
They can't even fit Heinola and Samburg in their lineup, so why would they trade for another young defenseman? If they did, they'd have to trade 3 guys out to make room. That's a lot of moving pieces.
