1st time posting about a possible trade. With the likely hood of Monahan leaving Calgary during this off season or potentially later in the year I see him moving to a team that is trying to win now.

Heres my proposed trade:

To Toronto:
Sean Monahan
2022 2nd round pick

To Calgary:
Mitch Marner 1.5M retained

Calgary is lacking serious Offensive players who can create chances and score goals. Toronto on the other hand gets a strong top 6 center and add depth to a team that is in desperate need of it while also adding a proven goal scorer coming off of a bad season.

I agree with the Toronto fans that it's a no. I think Marner is one of their more valuable players I would put him ahead of Matthews because he tries all the time.

Calgary already carries a soft winger in Gaudreau. One player like that is enough, adding the hugely overpaid Marner would be a disaster.
