I don’t think the Oil can afford to lose Larsson yet. I like your Pittsburgh trade I just think they’d keep Jarry and potentially trade Murray instead. I don’t think Ottawa would be interested in trading picks or acquiring Koskinen. I don’t think the Blues would trade Parayko and not for that package. Lastly I think Greiss will cost a little more.

Here is an EDIT and some of my thoughts;

EDM: Johnsson, 2020 4th round pick
TOR: Larsson

EDM: 2020 2nd and 3rd, 2021 2nd
OTT: Athanasiou, Koskinen


TOR trade gets them a solid RHD in Larsson and EDM gets a skilled LW player. Both teams get what they need. The pick is added cause D-men always cost a bit more.

STL trade would help the Blues to re-sign Pietrangelo. He is going to get paid big and right now STL doesn't have the cap space. The Bules would then get a solid D in Benning and a cheap / skilled player in Puljujärvi along with a 1st round pick and other picks.

OTT trade gets them a good goalie in Koskinen (Anderson is UFA and old) and they get a skilled player in Athanasiou to help build the team. This gives EDM cap relief.

PIT trade gives them a solid D in Nurse to help make changes to the team. I know Murry might be the one they are thinking to move but with Nurse in the trade I would prefer Jarry coming back.

Then the Oilers could sign Dell as their other goalie if Greiss is too much for them. They are also adding Edmundson to help eat the minutes on D. And of course Thornton gives them their 3rd line Center along with leadership and experience.

Here is a thought move allen bozak buy out steen. So know qhe have 12 million to give petro his 3 mil raise and 9 left to pay other raises.

Allen just showed he can be a number 1 goalie. Bozak is showing he is a hood 2c/ 3c.

Nobody wants allen or bozak at the money they are making face it if Pietro wants to deepen his pockets, you'll have to move on from somebody actually worth a damn to keep him. Bozak will cost you 2 1sts to dump on someone. Allen atleast 1. Are you willing to give up 3 first round picks just to keep Pietro and parayko?
