Oil: Benning + 3rd

Wings: Athanasiou

Detroit could use a young capable dman and they had trouble signing AA last year. Oilers could benefit from his speed and skill and put him in a top 6 role.

I’d rather a 2nd or something. Kinda need Benning as of right now. But I think he’d be a good player to get.

I just didn’t think Detroit would part with AA just for picks but I could be wrong.

I haven’t seen much of Benning but I know a lot of wings fans that are very high on AA.

Same age and AA had12 more points than Benning last year. There values probably aren’t that far apart IMO.

Sometimes Athanasiou looks like he’s going to be a star then other times he looks invisible. I would not trade him if I were the wings but if they did this could be fair.
