After watching the sharks play the flames our teams weaknesses were shown. San Jose has great offense and are good in their own end, but what we lack is a more stable net minder, and more offensive production from our back end. Niemi just falters in high pressure situations; OT, allowed a SHG lastnight, shootout, etc. this being said does anyone know a good OFD or goalie on the market and ther price?

Right when the Sens putted Anderson on their trade block, SJ was the first team to show interest. Idk what could be the package but they could put in Wiercoch that is a 6"5' OFD. But what could they get in return?

Braun injured for a so we could use someone in our top-4. And what would you want in return?

I don't think Bryan Murray would want another bunch of forwards like he got for Spezza, but maybe something like:

Ott: Nieto, Braun/Dillon,Stalock, cond. 2nd (1rst rd pick if the Sharks ends up in the 2nd or 3rd playoff round)

SJ: Anderson and Wiercioch

Correct me if I'm wrong but Anderson has a pretty good contract for his stats 4yrs/4.5 mill. This trade is similar to the Miller one last year. I don't know about the trade, but I'm pretty sure he'll end up in the West conference.
