Are people getting less crazy lately? Seen some different actually decent proposals. Was going to say need a 1st to rid of neal but think kylington is a good young defenseman. don't know a lot about lindstrom but would think itd have to be a little something better piece.

That is a deal I’d trade Nylander for Rasmus Andersson is a piece the leafs could really use. Nylander would look unreal with Guadreau and Monahan or on the 2nd line either as Center or wing. Also in before DetroitMantha rips Nylander apart saying he’s overpaid and has negative value.

Are you confident in Nylanders ability to play centre VB? I think it would be an easy yes if Calgary has plans for him to be 2nd line center. Lindholm was already unreal next to Gaudreau and Monohan.

It’s a pretty steep downgrade from Nylander to Bennett. I’m not sure andersson fills the gap. Andersson would only be third pairing on the Leafs. Losing a top line winger for a third line center / winger and a depth defenseman doesn’t make a lot of sense for Leafs.

HockeyFanatic actually Rasmus Andersson is better then Cody Ceci he’d probably go on a line with Morgan Rielly and Muzzin and Barrie would be a line with Dermotte and Cody Ceci on the bottom pairing.

VB, I never said Nylander has negative value, even if he is about 1.5 million overpaid, he does have value. He's a pernial 60 point guy on a good offensive team getting 7+ million. That's screams overpaid.

Up until 2 years ago MacKinnon was a perenial 50 to 60 point man by your theory. And no, I am not saying Nylander is as good as MacKinnon.

Yes I am confident Nylander can be an effective Center atleast better then Backlund. He’s a little bit similar to Duchene.

I wouldn't trade Bennett straight for nylander. Yes nylander can get points with Matthews. Barely going by last year. Bennett has accepted his shut down role and is good at it. he's kinda like rnh in he's put in a defensive role but can get points if he was playing with top players. Bennett can fight, hit. So much more than points to figure in.

I agree with shootsmcgee. The flames need to add to Bennett’s grit not trade it away. The flames need to dump some of these bad contracts not add more. Nylander is a big no for me.
