Pens get rid of one BAD contract (JJ) and one guy who seems to be the odd man out lately but a couple of years ago was a decent defender. Beagle is more for cap.

Okay, so to "get rid of one bad contract" that has 4 years at 3.25m left, the Penguins give up Maatta and a first rounder, just to get back a bad contract that has 3 years left at 3m? Makes a ton of sense lol.
