A deal around Galchenyuk for Kreider I think could work for both MTL and NYR.

The deal I read and agree with would be
Galchenyuk, Mid pick for Kreider, Holden.

kreider has more value, he's a hard nose guy that shows way more heart than alex, plays pp and pl and at least the rangers know what position kreider is, not getting bounced from position to position and from line to line. If you are basing galchenyuk being better because of total points, well that's wrong too. its a marginal difference
Galchenyuk 353pg = 210 points
Kreider 340 - 190.

Not saying it’s all about that brassard trade but rangers are a declining team that might miss the playoffs and sens were a game away from the finals. Don’t think anyone knows the extent of how good that trade was for anyone yet.
