Not bad actually, givin the Ducks current situation i also think they would accept. Soshnikov seems like a nice prospect, although he would be replaceable thru Torontos depth in their prospect system.

I agree BJ. Kaner, the leafs will need to acquire a young d-man or two as we haven't really drafted any outside of Reilly that are capable of top 4 minutes in a few years when they are challenging hopefully for a playoff spot and more than just the opening round. Fowler is 24 and will still be in his prime. This is a very unique year with expansion draft and younger players that would not normally be made available are. Snagging someone like a Fowler this year is ahead of the plan but hard to pass up the opportunity.

zombies. i was thinking more giving up a prospect and 2 2nds for fowler is a bit much for a rebuilding team. when you could use those picks for a bigger trade or using them to draft decent players.
