NJ gets their #1 dman back with offensive touch, They get a NHL ready top six center in Barbashev and keep their first round pick next year.
Can change the 2nd to first if they want to add a small cap dump.

in the trade below you say barbashev is a soon to be ready nhl player, but in this one you say he is ready for a top 6 role.

which is it? did he do over a year's worth of development in a few minutes? All STL players are gods, so i wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, i just want to make sure.

I think he means Barbashev is not top 6 NHL ready yet, but can fill a4rd or 4th line roll. I think he is ready for 3-4th line Centre or middle 6 wing. Just need a team that will let him play.

Also I think this is one of the better Shattenkirk trades. Blues mauve add a 4th though.

i would have no problem adding a 4th to this. Or jaskin/ rattie in place of Barbashev, but i figured barbashev would be more desirable since he is a center.

He is top 30 in league how is that not top pairing please explain. FYI there are only a few teams were he wouldn't play on the first line so how is that not top pairing lol.

shattenkirk is a top pairing on a few teams, but most teams he second pairing. You have to be pretty bad depth on defence to have him top pairing.
