I can't see Hossa being moved, even though Nash could be pretty crazy in Chicago. Also 0% the second trade happens.

Hossa will play third line with Krueger next season and he is OK with it.

Hossa only makes 5.275 cap hit and 4 mill cash next season. Not a chance Chicago takes on Nash at 7.8 cap hit and 8million cash. Hosea is slowing down a bit but can still provide some offence and is integral to balancing the lineup for the Hawks. When he struggles to put up points he does a million other things to help them win, including back checking harder than guys 10 years younger. When Nash struggles to find the net, he disappears. A cap strapped team can't have guys making over 10% of the teams cap showing up for 30-35 games a year.

If Chicago retained 25% of hossas cap, Hartnell would be more expensive and overall, not an improvement. With a longer summer, hossa should have a better season next year then last year. I watch Chicago a lot and the amount of posts and near misses he had, could of had twice the goals last year, maybe some better luck this year could be 25-30 goals and still a top defensive forward even at his age. At 5.275 mil, he's still a good cap hit, Nash at this point is way to much money.
