I actually luv this. Good post. Mine suck so bad. I play nhl 16 and they worked so I don't know why they don't work in real life. Anyways good post. i'd put mcdavid on stammers wing tho. But he possibly could sign cause of the young good core they have

Edmonton casually goes out and gets 2 top pairing defenseman, a first line winger, a franchise centreman, and Cam Ward in one offseason. Really? I guess salary cap isn't really a factor either, is it?

Vatanen isn't nearly a top pairing defenseman. Faulk is but we actually gave up something for him, and they're both on a good contract (but Vatanen is getting a raise) And why are you complaining about us getting Stamkos? Because he's not going to the leafs? Okposo isn't a first line winger he's more of a second liner but I put him on the first line for size and grit while McDavid and Stamkos light it up. Also I stated that the oilers have 15m in cap space and I also dumped faynes 3.6m contract so that's how the salary cap worked.

You still don't have the cap space for those 3 players. ward is looking for about 4-6 mill, stamoks for 9.5 and okposo is looking for 6. ill give ward 5 million just cause, so with that those 3 players will cost you 20.5 million. yet you only get rid of fanyes 3.6 yaks 2.5 the Reinharts not even a million contract. good look with that johnscott69. plus how long you going to sign them causse mcdavid will be getting paid in 2 more years. goodbye 2 of your 3 "core" players.

Well Stammers signing for 9.5m is low as you have to think about the taxes and after taxes that's about 6m per year, South NHL teams don't pay taxes so Stammer making 7.5m right now. so that would be a pay cut taking 9.5m (6m) from Edm. Edm would have to offer around 13.5m (9m) and then Tampa can turn around and offer 9.5m and that's making more then Edm offer of 13.5m meaning the only reason Stammer will leave Tampa is for his home town Toronto taking a pay cut. (BOOM) drop the mic haha.
