-Alex Edler (Has to waive NTC)
-2016 2nd 33rd OA
-2016 3rd 63rd OA

Canadians trade :
-2016 1st 9th OA
-Alexei Emelin

Thoughts?

Edler is a nice defenseman however i don't see the fit with the habs. we need a scorer, plus, I don't see the Canucks trading a virtanen or a sedin. The only players that would make sense from the habs perpsective If indeed we are talking about the 9th overall pick that would be attractive for the rebuilding Canucks.

I see Edler a lot. He's over paied. He is a #4 defenseman. He turn's the puck over way too much. I'm all for trading him. I just don't believe his value is very high right now. Maybe buy him out after next year if he has an other bad year.

VanCity you won't need to buy him out you'd be surprised at how many teams would like him.
