Philly wouldn't even consider this. Gostisbehere could have a better chance at a Calder nom than Parayko at this point. And I say that as a fan of Parayko, I just don't think he is comparable to Pronger in half a season like tankie does.

Ya flyers won't trade giroux because he is an amazing centre and one to build around gostisbehere has good potential to become a really good defense and for what a centre wo is a downgrade from giroux and shattenkirk who is a lot older than gostisbehere. That's a no from the flyers IMO.

This trade prop was just a dig at me FYI chirp. Every sports analyst disagrees with u. Parayko is ranked 3rd by espn in calder race and is the only defender in on calder race. Gostisbehere was mentioned by nhl live as a good rookie prospect but not nearly as good at this point as parayko. But hey what do sports analyst know right.

Ghost has the same number of points as Parayko in 20 fewer games. And points are a huge factor in the Norris. So I wouldn't say that Ghost having the better chance at a Norris is all that inaccurate. Also while he came on strong he's never had more than 3 games without a point showing more consistency than Parayko has at this point in their rookie seasons.

It's awesome how selective a reader you are. Multiple hockey sites (incl NHL. com and The Hockey News) recently had articles about the Calder race. Ghost was mentioned in most. Parayko was mentioned in, by my count, one.

I even like Parayko, but you crush on him like a teenage girl and it's hilarious/ depressing how you look at your precious Blues through rose-colored glasses. They could extend Bouwmeester for 8 years and you'd find some way to convince yourself it was the best idea ever to happen in hockey.

FYI Colton Parayko just moved into the number 2 spot in calder tracker on espn. Guess whos not on the top 5 list that's right ghost. You didn't even know who parayko was till i started talking about him in pre-season.

ALl i got to say is 6 goals 13 assists 19 points and +17

Still better than any defenseman on your team so have a nice day.

Not one Oilers fan will disagree with the Oilers being crap and specifically there D. But Klefbom and Nurse aren't crap also Reinhart will hopefully be a good stay at home D next season. Don't get all salty because people are calling you on saying Parayko will win the Norris. You 100% said that THIS season. Lol I highly doubt anyone with a say thinks he is number 2 in the Calder race. Once McDavid comes back he'll probably have a better chance than Parayko.

I know I shouldn't bring this up. But an updated NHL. com article on the Calder race (Jan.12) had Panarin winning with Larkin and Domi as finalists and Eichel Duclair and Ghost as others to consider.
