flyers: Evander kane 3rd 2015

I don't think the jets would like this at all

Coburn - his play has declined drastically and his contract is still very expensive plus winnipeg is looking to move dmen because they have a lot currently on their roster that are nhl capable

Read - is not producing up to his contract so he doesn't hold a lot of value

Cousins - is a decent prospect but but i'm sure winnipeg would be looking for a better prospects coming back

the 2nd rounder would need to turn into a first

all in all I just think this whole package would need to be reworked in order for the jets to consider it.

thats literally nothign for kane. coburn is a 3rd pair guy, read is a severley overpaid 3rd liner, cousins will likely not turn out to be anything.

I think Wpg would want forwards or 1rst rd picks. Also something that could help them in the playoff, if not, they'll wait 'till the draft or offseason.

At this stage that's to much for don't forget he's got issues that won't be resolved if he stays in Winipeg

I really think Evander Kane could be like the next JVR in the making. I can understand how Jets fan feel about Kane as I feel the same about Kadri, but he is just 24 years old, he got a great potential. For those of you who don't know the story of JVR, JvR is a powerforward drafted 2nd overall in 2007 draft and has struggled in Philly and had major injury issues for example a concussion. He showed a glimpse of his potential in the 2011 playoffs when he scored near point per game pace. The season after he missed most of the season and when he came back wasn't good as Philly wanted/expected. Traded to the Leafs for Schenn, and JVR became an extremely good power forward ever since he became a Leaf. If you guys just go through the struggles with this young player it could pay huge dividends.
