If you want Duchene, you'll have to give up at least one of Beaulieu, Gallagher and Galchenyuk, along with a fairly sizeable plus.

How come when a leaf fan posts a big name coming to Toronto, it is an impossible dream, but ok for Montreal? Other than goaltending and beating the Bruins, there is not much that separates the two teams. Just curious

Alright than. My two teams I cheer for, Pens and Leafs, offer the following for Duchene.

PIT: Gibbons, Harrington, and a 1st

TOR: Holland, Ross, and a 1st

You are dillusional to think that your proposal would get Duchene. And no I don't think my proposals would work either. But you have to give up some quality talent to get players like Duchene. Think man think!

As for the trade, it's terrible and the Avs wouldn't do it.
