It would look right if the pieces to the puzzle worked but, we can't get rid of our core. Good trade, wrong time. And it would have to be tweaked a bit. but good offer.

1.) I think Col would be looking for a bit. Add puempel or another prospect and it's fair

As a Sens fan I'd take @x karlsson x 65 proposal in a heartbeat. But in reality I'd have to agree with @Cd1, another prospect or a good/productive young roster player would have to be added.
3.) Adding another 2nd line center doesn't help Ottawa. I struggle to see where O'Reilly fits in with turris, zibinijad and lazar all developing nicely.
O'Reilly is also highly overrated in my opinion, he's basically Derrik Brassard. good consistent 2nd line center, nothing more really.
He would fit in nicely with Dallas , Nashville, Vancouver. teams like that. Ottawa is a bad spot for him.

Its Berniers RFA rights so i'd say they're worth a bit more than a 4th?
Wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot pole, hoffman is looking like a solid sniper and ceci is one of few bright spots on our D. the quality ottawas getting back isn't good enough for BM to give those 2 away.
