Edmonton says no to pretty much every trade you ever post.

2.) 08 Jul 2014
Thanks for destroying the oilers

3.) 08 Jul 2014
Yeah your right, it is an overpayment

4.) 08 Jul 2014
Take out jvr and add a pick

5.) 08 Jul 2014
The trades you post don't make sense for either team it's like you're trying to make both teams worse. Maybe you could try posting and then taking the hit. Just a thought.

Doesnt matter if the value is there, leafs become worse because no one fills a wing spit and a d spot. And don't disagree, hall erbelre and rnh couldn't even get u out if the bottom 5

Hall is good, but is not as heavy on the puck as expected and is getting very prone to injury. I think Oilers would LOVE Gardiner, Franson & JVR, just can't see interest in Kadri. leafs interest is in the Oil's clutch scorer IMO.

Eberle for Gardiner, Franson, Mclaren & conditional pick

Petry & 1st round pick for V.Hedman & 2nd round pick

Re-vamped D in Oil town with a slick PP specialist and two stud 6'5 defenders who can skate, shoot and move the puck very well, all while logging a ton of ice. can't imagine RNH & Gardiner on the PP together with Mclaren yelling from the bench not to touch them.

As a leaf fan I know it can be hard to keep loving your team and having faith every year. But even I feel sorry for Oilers Fans. All that Talent, how many 1st overalls? How many Phenoms? Yet there you are every year. Last place or very close to. *hugs*

The Oilers issue isn't the players, its management. KLowe buried the team, then got promoted (why?). Tambellini was slow to build but got a good base going. The rotating door of coaches didn't help around that time either. Every year, the youth need to learn a new system by which to play which really diminishes their ability to grow in the NHL. The major tipping point, in my mind, was the firing of Tambellini and Krueger just as the team was starting to improve (out of the bottom-5 that season). They bring in MacT (KLowe's buddy and absolutely the only reason he was given that job) and Eakins (5th coach in 4 years). I haven't even completely disappointed with MacT, although his decisions have been pretty simple ones to make that even my friends and I saw as obvious choices (I said they should trade for Perron a week before it happened). As for Eakins, I've yet to see benefit to firing Krueger (which MacT did over Skype, btw. You believe that s**t?!) for this overconfident coach that has already alienated a few players and never seems to have an answer to even simple questions during post-game interviews aside from blaming the players. Never does he acknowledge that perhaps it's his coaching techniques and approach to NHL-style hockey that could be a hindrance.

If the Oilers end up in another bottom-dwelling position, I imagine you'll see a huge response from players demanding KLowe and MacT's heads. Probably Eakins too. And without sweeping changes in those departments, it'll continue to be an uphill battle against a stubborn executive branch that wants more to get another ring on the fingers of their "boys club" alumni than make actual positive decisions that better the team.

You leafs fans are frustrated with Nonis? Imagine him being even worse and in control for 8 years. Then you'll have an idea of what it's like to be an oilers fan.

I meant demands for changes from fans, not players. Derp.

11.) 08 Jul 2014
Leaf fans had john ferguson jr. Mr tuuka rask for Andrew raycroft so we know

I don't think chirp liked the hugs. I'm a die hard leafs fan and have always liked the oilers too. Might as well tell you I'm a lions & tigers fan too. So my life is full of disappointment. Come to think of it, I could use some hugs
