not enough and i seriously doubt they'd trade a player like Lindholm to a division rival, Zadorov sure but Lindholm nah.

I think the Canucks are giving up too much. Two young players who are still decent/ good prospects/ players plus a 1st 3rd 2 4ths 2 6ths and a 7th? That's 7 picks as it says every 2024 pick. Pretty sure that's a decent haul.

Kuzmenko doesn’t have the elite two way game and his down season is worse than Lindholms but how far apart are there values? Kuzmenko and a 2nd for Lindholm? He had a better season last year, he’s two years younger, he’s signed for next year at a reasonable cap.

Kuzmenko is to balance salary and make it enticing to actually make the deal happen.
Podkolzin is a young 1st Rd 10th overall pick.
Add a other 1s, 3rd 2x 4th ++ and Vancouver has their 1 stop shop for defensive responsibility, for a SC run. Calgary gets plenty of picks, a player under contract for next season. And a controllable asset for years to come.

@Hrenklin I just don’t think it makes sense at all for the Flames. They trade their #1 centre and a top 4 defensemen for an older winger and take a huge gamble on Podz. If they’re trading these guys it would be for futures cause it would indicate a retool/rebuild, they need a better offer especially if they’re retaining salary on both. 1st + prospect for Lindy, 2nd + prospect/depth player for Tanev.
