I know Larkin is a FA after next season. But with the help of his buddy Kyle Connor, I think he would sign long term deal.
Also read the Jets are actively shopping Wheeler. Lots of value but huge contract.
I believe the Jets are in trouble.
Also heard that Andrew Brunette is being interviewed for the coaching job. Along with Montgomery, Arniel, Tocchett, Vincent.

Change Dvorak with Anderson then the Jets may do PLD for Anderson and Romanov trade.

The first trade is not nearly enough. Why would the Jets trade PLD for a young defenseman when they can't even fit 2 of their own into a lineup and then for a third liner? A trade for PLD has to involve Suzuki, Caufeild or the 1.01.

I like the second trade but I think a mid round pick instead of Erne gets it done. The Jets don't need Erne.

No from Winnipeg on both I'd imagine. An okay 2nd pairing defenseman and an average 3C isn't enough enticement for Winnipeg to move Dubois now. They would get the standard 1st and good prospect at the TDL in 2 seasons, so this isn't enough to make them move him now.

Larkin has a NTC so he isn't waiving for Winnipeg and why would the Jets downgrade from 2 years of Scheifele to one of a lesser player without an add as Erne isn't worth anything?
