Seattle trades:
Mark Giordano @3.375m (50% retained)

Boston is looking for a LD, Gio would fill that need very nicely. Seattle gets a struggling left winger that has asked for a trade.

Maybe Boston needs to add a 3rd round pick or something since Seattle can probably get a late first for Gio with retention from other teams.

If I was Seattle, I'd stick with a picks only return to get the highest pick possible.

I don't think it's a bad trade because debrusque seems to have not progressed as much as Some thought . maybe he needs a change of scenery. aybe Boston throws in a 2nd round pick.

I still think Dylan Strome for Jake Debrusk is win-win for both Boston and Chicago, but this isn't bad either, assuming Boston is playoff bound. Debrusk is a young former 1st overall pick that has proven he can score in the NHL, something Seattle should be working to acquire for sure. Maybe they help Debrusk improve his game or stats at least and ship out for even more in return next year.
