Montreal says sure, Winnipeg says no way.

Ehlers and Dubois would be big upgrades for Montreal over Drouin and Kotkaniemi. Winnipeg probably likes Romanov but I'm pretty sure they're looking for a RD not a LD and the rest of package from Montreal is quantity over quality.

There's nothing in that offer that makes the Jets even think about trading one of Dubois or Ehlers.

I agree the Jets need to make some changes or they will not be a threat to make the playoffs let alone win the cup. If the Jets were to trade Ehlers and Dubois they would want a young proven #1 d-man who is signed long term.
