I don't think the Jets would give up a roster player who is playing well, so I think Perreault would be out. They might do Vesalainen, but that is probably an overpay, so maybe a lesser prospect and/ or pick since Savard has not been good this year.

Savard should get a better return than that, unless of course, it is the Jets or Leafs.
Although if it were a trade to Leafs, it must contain a 50% retention and at least one of Kerfoot or Engvall.

Savard is playing like a 5/ 6 d-man this year and the Jets have enough of those. Why would the Jets make a trade when they 1st have to get a recognizable defensive system.
