The difference between 10&3 is not as big as 10&2 just because of after Kakko and Hughes, the talent drops. Taking Seabrook is probably all it takes to jump those seven spots. Juolevi and Tanev too? Hard pass from Vancouver.

I don't think Chicago will ever move Seabrook. If his contract was 2 million less for 2 less seasons, then he may bring experience to some teams. One of the hardest contracts to move in the NHL plus he has no interest in moving.

Seasbrook has bad contract, yes. Very bad. And NMC too. I don’t think he will waive to go to Vancouver. Chicago is start rebuild must needs that 3rd overall, yes. And why is Vancouver want Seabrook? Very bad way to keep on for the rebuild by take on bad contract. Is not a good trade for both teams, no.

Seabrook has negative value.

Imo 10th + Juolevi OR Tanev is close to enough to move from 10th to 3rd alone. Since 2-10 is pretty much a toss-up. No idea why they would give up more to take Seabrook and his terrible contract.
