That's a really easy no from leafs. If jvr goes it has to be for a good young top 4 Dman. Can't be for a bottom pairing D, cap dump, a young forward that leafs are flooded with and a minor league goalie.

Pacioretty and shaw

For

Polak, kapanen, michalek and sparks.

Clearly habs would want no part of that, think about it.

Holly that's a bad trade for habs. Try this:

Tor: Matthews, Reilly, Marner

Mtl:Plekanec, Beaulieu, DD

Lindgren is a pretty good goalie prospect, what the leafs lack, and he has a WAY higher value than Sparks (you could think of him having a little less value than Malcom Subban) . I still doubt this trade would be made as it only addresses MTL's needs.
