Heard Blues want pick #4 to draft Tkachuck and are dangling Shattenkirk. My thoughts are Shattenkirk would have to sign an extension. Even then I think Blues would probably have to add (pick #28?) as Tkachucks stock has risen from his playoff performance. and having Tkachuck-Mcdavid, Hall-Draisaitl at C/ LW would be enticing for the Oilers. anyway something to consider.

Like you said, i'd ONLY do this trade if Shattenkirk signs an extension, so he can't take off after one year.

Not adding our first take shatty extended or dont. Ktchuck isn't all the hype that has been talked. His skill level is considerably lower than top 3 and is 2 years from nhl. doesn't help blues. If he was so awesome why doesn't EDM draft him


Blues have been rumored to be talking to Det. I hope blues gest Svechnikov and their 1st for extended shatty small+.
