How about a Hopkins for Myers deal straight up? Winnipeg goes with Hopkins/ Schiefele as 1-2 and pushes Little down the depth chart. Keep Trouba and sign him to a bridge deal or long term for much less than Myers 5.5, giving them more salary to work with. Edmonton can afford to lose a center and add a much needed right handed defenseman. Or I was thinking Little could be part of the deal, just because he's from Edmonton.

Won't Laine play C? I can't see the Jets being interested In RNH at all honestly. They play in one of the biggest and most physical divisions, a smallish 2nd line C isn't really a need. If I'm the Jets I keep Myers and go with Schiefele and Laine/ Little combo.

Why does it matter if RNH is on Winnipeg . People say he's "small" but he's not. He's 6'0 but a little lighter than he probably should be weighed in at but that's not his style to be a big heavy player. Winnipeg is one of the biggest, for not the biggest team in the NHL I'm sure they would absolutely want Nuge on their team and idk why you're saying they wouldn't want him.

I don't see why Winnipeg wouldn't do a deal based around these players. Myers for RNH seems reasonable. Very similar contracts then gives the Jets the option to move Little to maybe a team like Columbus for a Left D. Maybe little and a pick for Muarray.

Puljujarvi is the one who could play center and right wing.
Laine plays Left wing mostly as he sets up his shots at the left side almost all the time, but he could also play RW.
