To MINN: JVR

To TOR: Matt Dumba

Who adds? Or is it even? I am looking for a comparative value between the two just to see their values. Not a debate if JVR should be traded or if Minnesota can afford Dumba. How do they stack up player for player.

Player for player its tough. With JVR you know what you're getting. He's a good winger who could easily put up 30 goals every season with a decent team. Dumba's a wild card in a sense. He's a great high energy offensive player but makes a lot of mistakes in his own end. Player for player IMO I would probably say JVR is the better/ more valuable player but its tough when comparing guys at two different positions.

JVR has a slight more Value.

If JVR was a center they'd do it. They already have a lot of wingers.

Yeah, I tend to agree that JVR has slightly more value than Dumba. Maybe Dumba and a third or fourth would be even value wise (I am not proposing that trade, just looking at values alone)
