Are you crazy. YOu think Hall can get you Petro. Wow you oiler fans are very delusional. Hall doesn't even get the talks started. Petro is a 25+ minute top 15 #1 dman who was in noris race twice. He puts up an average of 45+ pts a year while facing the best forwards in the league. He was our best dman in the playoffs last year.

Blues will not trade him with his great contract which has 4 years 6.5 mil left after this year for a left winger who would play behind Alexander steen because his two way game is not as good as steens fyi steen also puts up points similar to hall. so HUge no thanks.

IM pretty sure at this point the blues will look to package a few players together to get an over all upgradde and not the other way around. we need more quality not quantity. THe only player that makes sense is draistail for Shatty. BUt now with petro out it would have to be an off season thing. Which could be better with a sign and trade. But looks like the #1 dman options are getting smaller due to big buff signing.

I guess you don't know hitch do you. Hall's numbers are almost the same compaired to steen. So if steen playing defense first in hitches offensive stiffling system can put up numbers comparable to hall. Then i would say that yes hitch would have steen play over him. Would put hall on second line with more offensive zone starts.

In the nhl Hall is not know to be a two way center. i'm not slamming hall. He scores goals that's his job. But Steen does both and puts up virtually the same as hall. I don't think hall would like playing hitches system or thrive n it he isn't physical enough. Once again point being Petro is worth more than hall think of petro as your mcdavid untrade-able.
