If Calgary is really going to go into a rebuild/retool mode, this proposal makes sense for them.

Leafs get 2 good solid forwards in this deal and with both Treliving knowing both players and the win now logic, this proposal makes sense for Toronto as well.

Still don't understand your logic, I am offering 3 good prospects plus two 1st Round Picks yet you claim it's garbage and a homer trade?
Curious do you believe that Toronto has any prospects, and that all 1st Round Picks are garbage?
Calgary will be rebuilding and Toronto is still a top team looking to improve, I know you hate The Leafs and that they are a top team, but come on this is a solid proposal for Calgary.
If it was a different team other than Toronto I am sure you would not be so negative, I know that from your posts in the past when it's other teams and proposals.

Pinny those players aren't good prospects and not worth the two Calgary players.
If you think they are that good then Leafs should keep them and you should stop trying to peddle them for real NHLers.
Also stop with the money retention as it cries of desperation because of the Leafs crazy use of their cap space.

- the leafs aren't a "top team". Top teams win playoff rounds Pinball. or at least more than one every nine years.

- you've accused me of "hating" the leafs multiple times, and every time I say I don't "hate" anything, and stop acting like a child. (What is wrong with you that this is your default response? )

- as for your prospects, two weigh 160 and 164 pounds. Two are 3rd rounders. I'm not sure what your deal is, but none scream "good prospects". They are all prospects, and I'd suggest, they're all long-shots.

- Grow up, stop posting garbage trades, and stop whining like a child when someone disagrees with you. I'm embarrassed for you.

Kevin Hayes was just traded today to St. Louis with 50% of his contract retained for the next 3 seasons for a 2024 6th Round Pick.
It won't cost anything close to my proposal to get Toffoli or Backlund, Flyers and Nashville have set the trading bar this off season and Calgary won't get anything close to anything now.
Either they keep them and lose them for nothing or trade them for minimal but save money.

Different situations altogether Pinball. CGY can wait to make their best deal, and aren’t dealing with the same issues other teams are. Your failure to understand and apply the basics is nothing less than embarrassing.
