Jets get a new Center that hopefully has better chemistry with Laine then Little currently has. Rangers get a young goalie who can learn from Lundqvist before he retires. Also they get a young forward who needs a chance to play and a pick as well.

I think the Rangers would probably be able to get a better offer and I don't think I would want the Jets to give up a comparable package.

No need, Rangers pipeline is already stacked. Think more Appelton, Roslovic. Petan is only 3 years younger than Hayes and is no where near an established nhler. pass from rangers.
