Carlsson is looking like a bust. He can’t even make Columbus, who don't even have very good defense past that top line. Rangers might want a 1st instead so they draft their own guy. But otherwise it looks like a pretty straightforward offer that could benefit both teams.

High 30 point dman, who is 2-way. Solid defensively. On an expiring deal @ 29 years old. Top prospects rarely get traded for rentals even if he were to come with an extension he is not worth any of the prospects listed. All of those guys are top 5 prospects to their respected clubs. You would more likely see Brodie traded for two 2nd's.

Do you know who Vitali Kravstov is/ what the Rangers cap situation is/ why do they need another dman/ are they contending. Rangers never answer a call from Treliving again. As for the rest, you are trading a #4 dman for top prospects that won't work at all. None of the trades work. Terrible value.

1st, Rangers are stronger on RW then they are at Left. (Kappo, Kravstov, Buchnvich, Fast) . 2. Rangers are trying to get rid of roster players to make room for these young guys, not just keep filling up spots. 3. Vesey is a better player.

Hell no from the Rangers. They own the 20th overall pick btw. Why would the Jets trade back for Lemieux? And Pionk and Chytil are on two completely different levels of value. Chytil is untouchable and Pionk should be availible. Pionk, 20th, and another small add sure.
