Dallas Trades: Radek Faksa, Jason Dickinson and 1st 2018

Calgary Trades: Sam Bennett and Matthew Tkatchuk.

I'd say Faksa=Tkachuk. the difference between Bennett and Dickinson is not a 1st; maybe a 3rd or 4th would be better.

I don't blame anyone for not knowing much about the stars, but Faksa was in the selke conversation all season. The advanced stats on the guy are nuts. Tkachuk produces about 10 more points a year, yes, but I think the stars value Faksa more than you think and for good reason.

1) Tkachuk is 4 years younger
2) Tkachuk is much, much better offensively
3) Calgary needs wingers, not another center
4) These “nuts” advanced stats that Faksa puts up are pretty average and are very poor in comparison to Tkachuk
5) Calgary doesn’t need another defensive player and even so stats show it’s be a defensive downgrade (I can’t make a statement about how he plays as I don’t watch him that much)

So in conclusion Tkachuk = Faksa is ridiculous unless you meant Keith Tkachuk right now. Calgary’s wouldn’t trade Tkachuk for that entire package (based on needs and value)
