I can't see Ottawa doing this trade. Ceci was one of the guys they protected from Vegas at the expense of methot. if the sens were going to shop ceci, the time to do it was before the expansion draft imo.

Ceci isn't that good guys, like I don't see the big deal about him. He's like Beaulieu sorta. Tanev could get more.

Yup, Tanev sucks because he's a defensive player and a stay at home dman, all about the points, espiscally for defencemen.

Ceci might not be the best bit he is definitely better and worth more than tanev. Plus his potential is still there too at a young age. Only way he moves is if he's in a package for a star player, like say duchesne or Tavares. You can say that will never happen all you want but fact is, the real nhl is not like xbox1 or ps4, unreal trades happen all the time whether fans like it or not. Tavares not signing before this coming trade deadline will drop his value and duchesne value has been dropping by the day thanks to insane asking price and his desire to play elsewhere. I'd be shocked if either get full value in return.
