RNH > Little J
Maroon >> Bennett

Davidson >> nothing.

AND to boot OILERS give up the 1st to boot. ?
Don't think so.

Oilers do not improve in any area, get smaller, don't get a Dman back and actually lose one in the deal.

This trade is totally Flamin' C biased.
Not a chance it happens.

I'm sorry. Did you just say RNH > Gaudreau?

There it is folks, the best evidence possible that FT4A is insane. Gaudreau is a game changer, RNH is a glorified 3rd line centre on a good team.

Lol. No from Edm. Take out the 1st it's close. But probably still a no from Edm.

McRazzle
With 110% certainty I did so say that!

RNH is cheaper, and understands what the word 2 way play and defense is all about.

RNH Plays all situations in the game. little J . not.

The 2 are pretty close in offensive play yes, just RNH is used by the coach to shut down other teams top lines.

Little J go into the corner to get a puck. NOT! (RNH does. )
RNH on the PK. Little J NOT!
RNH is a center. Little J is a winger. ( less value for a winger)

Little J. too small. ineffective when teams start to actually hit him.

Sorry McRazzle. RNH > Little J. Facts are there.

gaudreau has 43 points in 53 games
rnh has 30 points is 63 games.

scottos So what?
Points arn't everything and Little J is minus what 50 right now?
No defensive backchecking bone in his body. No heart and chicken to go into a tough area.

Colt think what you want. I have my opinion.

Just an aside tho.
I think it'd be interesting to pit the 2 of them against each other in a skills competition.
Lets see who is:
Fastest skater
Hardest shot.
Accuracy shooting.
And.
Then at the end they can drop their gloves and go atter.

I'd like to see it!

FT4A Do those matter if he can assist or score?

Johnny Hockey is a top 5 skilled/ Smart player in the NHL he is special and very few players are like him. If he was 6.2 he'd be reconized for how good he is. Now on the other hand RNH is not special and he is easily replacible he's a few tiers bellow Gudreau.

Ft4a. R u nuts? I'm pretty sure u are the only one in the world who thinks rnh is better than johnny!

VB
They are BOTH smart players.
Both have similar skill sets.

Top 5 what? Top 5 player on an NHL team. sure. I'll buy that.
Top 5 in the NHL. well. Think you're looking at last year's stats if that's what you're trying to say.

He's not below Little J in the faceoff dot.
He's not below Little J in back checking and defensive play
He's not below Little J in PK %
He's not below little J in heart and desire
He's not below little J in nhl experience

He IS BELOW Little J in Salary tho.

Little J Plays probably 20% more PP time to get more 2nd assist points. And is played in favorable offensive situations instead of against the other teams #1 or shutdown line.
Where Little J is played away from the other teams top lines. RNH is assigned to them. His role as defined by the coach is to not let the top lines score more so than take big gambles to pot goals.

Little J -12 ( Against mostly NOT 1st lines)
RNH -11 ( intentionally matched up against top lines and on
1st PK)

Sorry but I'd have RNH on my team before Little J.
Yes little J gets a few more points, but the overall game. nod goes to RNH.

Sorry.

They play a similar style of game.
