Ryan Hartman to the flames for oliver kylington and Garnett Hathaway.

1.) 26 Feb 2018 17:15:05
Sorry, he's a Penquin now.

2.) 26 Feb 2018 17:33:55
Hartman to Nashville confirmed.

3.) 26 Feb 2018 17:34:16
He’s a predator actually.

4.) 27 Feb 2018 01:33:57
Solid pick up by Preds. Pay for a rental get a young good winger.

5.) 27 Feb 2018 02:04:18
Good cheap pickjup. Not a steep price for a dece t 23 year old winger.

17 Feb 2018 22:54:00
To Calgary
Mike Hoffman and bobby ryan (25% retain)
To Ottawa
Sam bennett Troy brower Rasmus Anderson and John Gilles
What do you guys think?

1.) 18 Feb 2018 02:55:02
Um easy no from Ottawa lol.

2.) 18 Feb 2018 04:35:13
I don’t think calgary has that much cap space lol.

3.) 19 Feb 2018 01:50:10
CGY gives up WAAAAY too much.

06 Feb 2018 19:45:12
Montreal and Calgary

Flames receive Alex galchenyuk
Habs receive janko and kylington

1.) 06 Feb 2018 20:16:13
I would keep Jankowski myself. Wouldn't trade him for Galchenyuk and his $4.9M for two more years alone. That's a terrible contract. I'm a big fan of Jankowksi and he's seems like a very good third line center for the Flames for years to come, They are definitely hoping for that anyways. Zero want for Galchenyuk and that contract.

2.) 06 Feb 2018 20:44:11
Galchenyuk is a 50 point player making less than 5 million with a short term. Not a bad contract and a no from Montreal IMO.

3.) 06 Feb 2018 21:13:42
He has had one 50+ season in 5 years.
31P in 53GP this season so far.
I wouldn't call him a 50 point guy. He has the potential, but hasn't consistsantly done it to be called one.

4.) 06 Feb 2018 21:20:52
Yup it is obvious that you hate habs
Galchenyuk will one day score 60pts
For a top 6 D and top 9 fowarD
This is a no for obvous reason by Mtl.

5.) 06 Feb 2018 22:34:36
This is a no from Calgary, it solves none of their needs. Gal is a lw/ c we have loads of both currently, and he would be a 3rd liner here in either position. On top of that he is overpaid for his production.

Janko is doing great as a rookie playing c, and kylington has loads of potential, neither would I want to give up for another left shot wing/ center.

6.) 06 Feb 2018 22:46:51
If the habs were really interested in trading galchenyuk this wouldn't be too bad of an offer I guess.

7.) 06 Feb 2018 23:00:35
That price seems higher for Galchenyuk. Maybe switch Bennett or Jankowski?

8.) 06 Feb 2018 23:27:02
Lol? What? I did not deny that your he has that potential. But I don't think Calgary would be interested in giving up Jankowski for that potential.
I don't hate or love the Habs. I'm just stating a fact. You can't call a guy a 50 point guy when he has done it once in five (maybe six) seasons. If he does it repeadetly, of course you can. But he does have that potential, of course. So call it what it is, a potential 60 point guy.
That's not hating, that's just being real.

04 Sep 2017 20:25:51
Pasternak for s. Bennett and r. Anderson

1.) 05 Sep 2017 02:02:57
Pasternak won't be traded, and if he was, it would be for a lot more than that. Think about what kind of offer it would have taken to trade for draisatl before he signed and then add to it. I'm not saying he's better than draisatl, I'm saying he's more important to his team. If oilers traded draisatl, they still have the best young centre in the world. If bruins lose Pasternak without getting a single player of equal skill, potential and age back, they get much worse. He's the only game changer forward they have in that age group. Him and mcavoy are the future.

2.) 05 Sep 2017 02:23:07
Horrible for Boston.

3.) 05 Sep 2017 03:11:23
Although both Flame prospects may realize their potential and turn this into a Kessel type steal, I can't see Boston taking the chance unless he's really not willing to budge off a rediculous ask.

4.) 05 Sep 2017 10:16:18
Definately no from Bruins.

5.) 05 Sep 2017 14:22:01
Borje, Bennett and Amdersson aren't going to be Seguin and Hamilton.

6.) 05 Sep 2017 15:11:11
Lol. Laughed at by Boston GM.
Borje is the new Homer Colt.

7.) 05 Sep 2017 16:38:40
Young players and draft picks are always a lottery ticket of some kind. Bennett is a decent young player and is young and could get better. But getting 2 young guys that you have already seen develop a bit and haven't blown your socks off is like a raffle ticket for a flat screen tv. 2 first rounders, not lottery protected from a team that hadn't made the playoffs in 5-6 years and whose best player was An undrafted college signing in Tyler bozak was like a ticket for the $500 mill powerball. Not even close to the same return.

8.) 05 Sep 2017 19:12:42
You should take note that I use the word May and then say it is not a good option for Boston. Considering both players are 20 and understanding that growth and development may still be far from over, they MAY still become very impressive players. Just as some players develop early and MAY not get any better.

9.) 05 Sep 2017 20:01:19
And I never said they weren't good players. And I never said they wouldn't get better. But I don't think it takes a genius to see that it's not close to the same return. If you are trading your best young player, the high picks that you can draft who you want at whichever position you want are better than a guy that has taken longer to develop than the flames had hoped and a question mark D that was taken 53rd when Boston had 5 picks between 13th and 52nd in that draft. Something tells me they would rather the picks than a guy they passed on 5 times 2 years ago.

10.) 05 Sep 2017 20:36:48
6 picks
Only one of those picks currently have more NHL games and none of their first rounders have played. Rasmus is rated as the Flames top non goalie prospect.

11.) 05 Sep 2017 20:57:26
Wow Borje, This deal proposed isn't even remotely close. Stop trying to make it seem like it is.

12.) 05 Sep 2017 22:42:29
Yeah. But those guys they picked ahead of him are guys they believe in or saw something in. They're committed to them. If they thought Andersson was better than any of them they would have taken him. Meaning he wouldn't be top 7 or 8 on bruins prospect depth chart.

He would be behind those players plus their top cpl picks from '16 and '17. Andersson has had a cup of coffee in the AHL. He can't be half of your return for Pasternak lol all we were saying is that this trade would never be a steal like the Kessel trade because by the time seguin and Hamilton were 20 or 21 like Anderson and Bennett are, they were already 2 of the best 5 or 6 players on their NHL roster. That's not the case in Calgary.

13.) 06 Sep 2017 04:30:23
Jim, Hamilton wasn't even playing pro until his third year after draft.

14.) 06 Sep 2017 04:39:13
He was drafted in June of 2011. He played for Niagara that following year (2011-12). The very next year, 2012-13 he played 32 games for niagara OHL and 42 for the bruins lol he was an every night player for them by January 2013 when drafted in June 2011. A year and a half to go from drafted, to playing every night on a playoff team. Figure it out borje, you're wrong.

15.) 06 Sep 2017 04:48:00
Got me on that one.

16.) 06 Sep 2017 13:43:19
3 calendar years from the day he was drafted, June 2014 he had over 100 NHL games. Andersson may not have that by the time he's 30, we don't know.

17.) 06 Sep 2017 13:48:19
3 years after he was drafted, by June 2014, he had over 100 NHL games. Andersson may never play that.

18.) 06 Sep 2017 13:59:08
Anderson will play many games and at a high level if his development continues. He's 20 and has top 4 potential. He won't be rushed as the Flames have a solid top 5 right now and he's better off playing in the AHL.

19.) 06 Sep 2017 18:38:19
That's fair. He might become a great player. I don't know much about him beyond published stats. All I was saying from the beginning was that getting guys a cpl years into their development who aren't stars yet doesn't give you close to the same chance at hitting on a franchise player as picking 2nd and 9th overall in consecutive drafts. And those 2 players potentials and ceilings are not as high as Hamilton and Seguins, so even if they realize their potential as you say they might, not going to be a steal like the kessel trade.

20.) 06 Sep 2017 19:09:28
Fair enough.

10 Jul 2017 23:55:48
Toronto - Calgary trade
Nylander and lupul
For giordano
This should be good.

1.) 11 Jul 2017 00:26:43
not sure what the position the leafs are in with regards to lupul, i assume the contract can be moved, that being said, you're a troll.

2.) 11 Jul 2017 00:51:12
Lol it's not that good for leafs.

3.) 11 Jul 2017 01:16:23
Nice troll buddy.

Even with Lupul in the deal, how is that fair for TO? Lol.

4.) 11 Jul 2017 01:22:53
Lupul has a year left at 5.25 and won't pass a physical. LTIR as soon as he can. Leafs don't need the cap space for 2 more years. I like giordano but he will be falling off before the leafs are at their best. Also Nylander isn't going anywhere unless it's for a stud D under 25.

5.) 11 Jul 2017 01:47:19
Ummm no from leafs lupul has one year left on LTIR and nylander>>>>Giordano that's a joke.

6.) 11 Jul 2017 03:29:47
Nylander could get giordano on his own, he's old and under contract for 6 more years. He's regressing. Leafs
Pass. His contract will just be another lupuls in 2-3 years.

The Flames final move of the offseason is sign yakapov 2 year 4 million.

1.) 01 Jul 2017 02:51:42
Can get him alor cheaper than 2 million per I bet. Treliving is a good GM, he won't waste that much on him.

2.) 01 Jul 2017 02:57:59
You really think yak is going to get multiple years and 2 mil a season? Please.

25 Feb 2017 01:30:58
Phi - cal
Simmons for Bennett and wideman

1.) 25 Feb 2017 02:00:51
Philly probably declines.

2.) 25 Feb 2017 13:16:59
Easily declines and blocks Calgary's #.

3.) 25 Feb 2017 17:10:49
It's Simmonds. And it's such an easy no from Philly. Lol.

4.) 26 Feb 2017 06:50:50

I don’t think the flames will trade Gawdin philips or valimaki unless they offer there first rounder.

As a flames fan. I would jump on that trade.

#1 is ok #2 is brutal for the Flames #3 is pointless and #4 would actually benefit both teams. I'd be ok with it.

Don't think Calgary would do this. Gallagher would be a perfect fit though.
