Sorry, Reilly is no where even close to Landy's calibre.
Reilly is SEVERELY overrated due to Leafs biased media and fanbase's overvaluation. If you believe Reilly is worth more than Landy. then you need to ask yourself that question. lol

Sorry but from what I've been reading Avs want a good young Dman and there's only 1 of those in Toronto right now. Sorry, but I stand pat. Reilly is NOT EVEN CLOSE to the same value as Landy and if the Leafs want him, this is what I believe the AV's would be asking for minimum for their captain. To pry him out of Colorado this year, it's going to take a big overpayment.

K99, nobody is prying Landeskog out of Colorado. They are looking for change. If Colorado wants a good young D man, that's what it takes. It seems you stand alone with almost everything you post on this site.

First of all Fair Trade, Toronto wouldn't trade their best D men who is still young and improving, for a really good talented young forward who is not consistent but has good leadership values. I like Landy but I wouldn't trade him for Rielly personally and certainly wouldn't add a first to the deal. Anyways Toronto has to improve their defensive core so no way their trading their BEST defenseman for the next 10 years.

Both teams want to improve their D core so Landy to Leafs doesn't seem to fit the Leafs needs.
Agree Toronto won't want to move Reilly but that's what' it's going to take to pry Landy outta Colorado to the Leafs.

You're right, no way Leafs move Reilly their only decent young dman who fits in with the rebuild age of the team. and no way Av's move Landy without getting a good young Dman back, so trade is a complete stalemate from both sides and it doesn't matter if Landy or Reilly is better. I'm sure Colorado fans think Landy is better, I'm sure Leaf fans think Reilly's better. I side with Colorado fans in this instance from seeing both play from a neutral perspective.

K99, there's no way the Av's would move their captain unless it's a great over payment from a contender who wants to win now that includes a top young Dman back according to the latest sources.

Colorado is in a position of weakness plus your captain of great leadership is leading his team into the basement that's on fire.

Reilly has more value ten fold. its not even a question.
