This would give Ottawa two solid first lines and if Zack smith can atleast repeat last years effort and get 15-20 goals, Pageau become a consistent 40-45pt Centreman, I'm sure that stone can get this line going and would be a very solid 3rd line that can be relied on with scoring.

True Hall is way better than Larsson, but Eberle is nowhere near as good as Hall and Ceci is pretty close to Larsson, so the sens won't give up him and a prospect/ pick.

N2, you are mistaken, Eberle is equal or better than Hall. They are pretty close in points most years, just depends who has more games. Eberle is way better in OT and Shootout, so probably a more valuable piece than Hall was.

Perhaps next year after the Exp draft when the Oilers have room for a 4th D-man Ceci + 1st + Francais Perron for Eberle may be a consideration.

Nooooooo way Eberle is better than Hall please don't say that again come on man : ( Eberle is better than Ceci but not Hall. Hall is another level he drives play he scores he playmakers. Having points doesn't compare players, it's what they do game in and game out. Hall is better than Ebs and that's a true fact. However, Ceci + first round for Eberle is too much. This trade isn't bad but Sens defs need to add more or the prospect or pick needs to be a good one.

Sorry guys. That's what Eberle's worth. Eberle and Hall both are equal calibre players that have strengths in different areas. Eberle is a superior passer, shooter, stick handler and is clutch in OT / shootouts to get those much needed extra points to get teams into playoff positions. He has been accused of not backchecking and got caught once on HNIC. Hall is a better skater off the rush, a little faster and gets into the corners a little better that Eberle, but gives the puck away in a controlled zone situation more often. Both at the IIHF last year were neck and neck for points with Crosby as their center. 2 different styles, same player valuation overall.

Every trade on here severely under values Eberle and RNH. Those 2 need to stay put unless acceptable compensation is received end of story.
Deadly serious on the Ottawa trade. I'd just keep Eberle for any less that that. Ceci is a dime a doz defender. got to get some very good potential in order to even consider moving a top 6 impact forward like Eberle.

Ceci is close to Larsson check the stats. Ceci has more offense to his game while Larsson has more favorable defensive metrics.

Eberle is not equal to Hall. Delusional if you think so brotha. He's very good, yes, But Hall is a bit better.
