Sanhiem and Laughton are young and will be productive. Read provides a 3rd line winger which Edm could use. and Streit is that Vet Dman.

Exactly what Mike said. Not enough good quality. Streit is old and oilers clearly don't need him and I heard philly wants to trade read bcuz he was terrible this year. So no it's not good for oil.

Only way Hall is getting traded is in a trade for a top 2 dman. I think Laughton is a centre which they don't need.

idk why people are disagreeing with the fact that this trade doesn't get you Hall nor does it help the oilers. like use your head my god. top 5 LW for another left handed prospect, another center, an old dman who is washed up and a guy who can barely get 40 points in a full season. yeah but i'm wrong I guess and that can land you Hall.

If you think the Oilers would accept that package for Hall then there's something wrong with you.
