Why? Why would Toronto give up a prospect and take on salary for a guy who's skill set you likely have internally (Marincin) or someone you can sign in FA.

No way from Toronto. Fayne is a really bad contract plus they already have so many defenders competing for a spot, plus Corrado is much cheaper. There are better options for a veteran presence on the leafs blue line.
