Just a simple trade

MTL: Pleckanec
STL: Stastny

Stastny as more offensive upside then pleckanec even tho pleck has more points in the last 2 seasons. Both averages the same salary, (6m-pleck/ 7m-Stastny) with 2 years remaining.

Mtl would do this, to get a bigger centerman and someone to play with pacio (olympics) adding size and potential offenseplus/ value

STL would do this, to add defensive plus/ value, will moving Stastny who is sleeping on the third line, without helping.

Let me know what you think, is it fair?

Um no. Blues are fine the way they are. Center/ scoring is our need getting smaller and more defensive (so u say) is not a need for blues. Montreal has nothing that the blues need on their team not good trading partners.

Sure thing Colt55, Price and Subban is just overrated and 1:st roundpicks is nothing that the Blues would be interested in. according to you no team in the league has anything that the Blues would be interested in except every teams top 3 players.

first and foremost why would we need subban. We have petro, Shattenkirk, Parayko, Jaybo, And two nasty 5/ 6 guys in Edmondson and Bortuzzo. On top of that we have Lindbohm, Smaltz Wallman and Dunn developing. Why on earth do we need subban.

Hey Not sure if you notice but price is hurt and Elliot / ALLen are just fine. So once again, what exactly does your team have to offer mine. Exactly.

Hahaha Colt55 you're hilarious, Shattenkirk is on the block Parayko looks good (right now) but so did Myers, Del Zotto and many many more. So I don't think any Blues fans would cry if they had Subban on the team, again, not saying they NEED him, because with their D-vore, they don't. BUT YES the blues need a better goalie to win. I bet a million $ your GM would send Shattenkirk, Stastny, Fabbri and your first for Price in a heartbeat. But Montreal will never trade Price, just like the Rangers will never trade Lundqvist.

greg. Subann is great but petro is just fine. Defense is not a problem. If you read my post i state that Subann is great. But we already have our guy. The blues need is A true # 1 center man. Montreal does not have anyone better than what we have. Steen and swartz and Fabbri are on left side. Tarasenko backes brouwer on right and Lehtera Statsny berglund down the center. biggest need is center. so no we don't need price or subban. FYI have you seen elliots numbers Guess you don't pay attention look it up, Allens were just as good before he went down.
