Montreal trades both Markov and plecky for 2nd round pics and to clear up 12 mill in cap. Then goes after stamkos. or say trades a 2nd round pick and prospects to jets for big buff. And then trades Carolina for stall for the other 2nd round pick and fucale and tinordi. boom.

No point in trading away Plekanec then going after staal. Plekanec is putting up better numbers and is by far more effective this year.

Plecky does good in regular season. But is invisible in playoffs. Stall is upgrade for playoff run.
