Jets could use some help on the third line, considering that they are playing Chris Thorburn there. Let me take a whack at a couple o' trades.

To Buffalo Sabres:
Eric Comrie
Axel Blomquist
5th Round Pick

To Winnipeg Jets:
Jamie McGinn
Matt Donovan


Brings in a good third/fourth line helping hand for the Jets
Brings in a good goalie prospect for the Sabres.
Maybe add a pick going Winnipegs way?

Jay Harrison

To Winnipeg Jets:

Brings in a better backup for Columbus
Brings in some decent picks for Columbus
Columbus gets a better player for almost even salary

Winnipeg gets a talented forward to help their top 9.
Winnipeg ships off a goalie who would have no use; Hellebyuck is playing just fine.

Seems like to much going to Buffalo on the 1st trade.

The buffalo trade is awful for Winnipeg.

First trade is horrible and unnecessary. the reason thorburn is on the third is because he deserves it he has been playing well.
