Vancouver needs to embrace the suck this year and prepare for 2-3 seasons from now.

To Van: Hamonic

Van gets a younger dman who wants to be out here. NYI gets a similar Dman who has more playoff experience and still in prime to help with cup push. Edler has to be willing to waive ofc.

Not enough for hamonic, as a canucks fan I'd love this trade but not enough, throw a pick in and maybe I could see it. Vrbata could fetch a late first rounder IMO but maybe a 2nd depending on the team. I like the Hamhuis trade, Jim Benning would too seeing how he loves giving our team to Anahiem but I could see hamhuis going to Washington, New York Rangers, Pittsburg, and Montreal.

I don't think so. NYI are win now, Edler is equal to Hamonic but has more playoff exp which is valuable to them right now.
