Pretty bad as usual.
How does that help St. Louis at all? And why would leafs give up younger players and picks for a guy in his prime when they're clearly rebuilding.
Washington also declines

Makes complete sense; since Toronto is contending for the cup this year it doesn't matter that we are trading away 3 high ceiling prospects, a 1st and a 3rd.
Really man, stop and think. Please. Neither team does this.

Since when are Gauthier, Valiev, and Percy "high ceiling prospects"?

How about actually sending sth of value to STL for Shattenkirk?

Toronto is not contending for the cup. They might get the 1st overall pick next year

@Chirp
Ok, maybe "high" ceilings wasn't exactly the correct term for these prospects. But I do believe Percy will be a reliable 4/5 defenseman on this team in a year or so. Valiev has progressed well enough not to be considered a dud. Gauthier is what he is. No sense fighting over that.
@subban76
WHOOOOOSH! Right over your head.
